The Benefits of a Synthetic Lawn

The Benefits of a Synthetic Lawn

Synthetic lawn or as some people call them, artificial turf is a great product that can enhance the beauty of your home or office complex.

There are many benefits to installing a synthetic lawn in the Sacramento area, as opposed to natural grass:

  1. No watering. Synthetic lawns do not require water and water prices in many areas is already high and forecasted to keep increasing.

  2. Very low maintenance. There is no mowing nor fertilizing involved. The only maintenance required is removing leaves which is only seasonal. Removing leaves can be done by either leaf blowing or by using synthetic turf specific power brooms. These are two machines we recommend, which you can find on Amazon through these links:

  3. Green year round. No matter what season it is, you will always be able to look out your window and see a beautiful green lawn. Synthetic lawns are now made by weaving through a base, individual fibers to create the lawn and there are many different shades of green so you can choose what shade you like the most.

  4. Pet-friendly. Synthetic grass has great drainage and does not absorb liquids/pet waste. Pet waste can also be easily picked up and if needed, can be washed off with a hose.

  5. Can be used in many applications. Sod lawns need full sun to be at their best but with a synthetic lawn, you can install it anywhere and it looks great, including deep shade.

These are just a few benefits of having a synthetic lawn. I highly recommend them and spec many of them in my designs.
