Irrigation Plans for El Dorado Irrigation District (EID) Recycled Water Lots
Within El Dorado Hills, the El Dorado Irrigation District (EID) requires all homes that are dual-plumbed (lots that contain one meter for drinking water and one meter for recycled water) must submit an irrigation plan and associated construction details in order to be approved to run recycled irrigation water to their lawns and planting beds.
Recycled water is wastewater that has been treated to be safe enough for different purposes. It is not safe for human consumption and in our area, it is primarily used for irrigation.
We here at Gill Gardens have worked on many landscape projects which require EID approval in local communities such as Serrano and Blackstone.
If you have a project that required EID approval and are seeking help with it, we’d love to discuss it with you.
