Landscape Design Plans for HOA Approval
You have your dream home and now it's time to design the yard. It's not always like it used to be, a couple of trips to Home Depot and a few weekends of work. There's now the dreaded three little letters: HOA. The Home Owners Association and their approval of what your yard looks like! In some neighborhoods, the HOA even has a say in what your backyard looks like!
While this can be very upsetting to some, for the most part, it can be a good thing just to keep the overall aesthetic of your neighborhood pleasing to the eye. This can greatly help in resell value, so keep that in mind. If that doesn't make you feel better, imagine your neighbor installing very gaudy and large fountains. There, now you feel better!
I have worked with many families to help them design a garden that is within their vision and also within the guidelines of their HOA. I am knowledgeable of the local HOA guidelines such as Serrano, Blackstone and others here in El Dorado Hills and Folsom. Together we can create something that you love and can easily and quickly get the thumbs up from the board. Soon you will be on your way to sitting back and relaxing in your garden without any worry of one of those HOA letters in your mailbox!
We have a few available spots open for new projects this season, so if you are thinking about renewing your existing landscape or you’ve just moved into a new home and would love a new garden to enjoy, we’d love to meet you and discuss it.
