Welcome to the Garden Journal! Gill Gardens - El Dorado Hills Landscape Architect & Garden Designer

Hello Everyone! This is Greg Gill, Registered Landscape Architect and Owner of Gill Gardens, located in El Dorado Hills, California. I am excited to be writing our first Garden Journal entry! My vision for this blog is to educate, inspire, and discuss all things related to Landscape Architecture & Garden Design, including landscape design, gardening, landscape tips, plant info, landscape news, and some of the things we’re up to at Gill Gardens.

This has been an exciting time so far with getting Gill Gardens off the ground! Thus far, we have been working with many fantastic clients to transform their garden landscapes into spaces that they love and enjoy in the area, including neighborhoods in Serrano, Granite Bay and La Cresta Village. It has been a pleasure to have such creative freedom to help our clients achieve their landscape goals.

If you are new to our site, let me tell you a little bit about me. I have been a Landscape Architect for over 25 years, working in both the public and private sectors, starting in New York City and now here serving the greater El Dorado Hills California area.

It has been an amazing experience to develop my skills with such a diverse array of projects, from designing public parks to commercial properties to rooftop terraces to large estate gardens for celebrity clients. Through all these professional experiences, I have found that my passion lies in designing residential landscape gardens and that is why I started Gill Gardens. I love the landscape design process as well as the fulfillment of the hands-on experience to supervise and install a garden, seeing to its full completion. We are not your average landscaper.
